To visualize the "Wild Rabbit" metaphor, Droga5 and director Johnny Green avoided literal imagery. Instead, The Mill utilized advanced CG grass interaction, atmospheric lighting, and subtle shadow play to suggest a presence that was "dark, elusive, and deeply personal." Filmed on location in Manila, the production team conducted an exhaustive search to find a young actor who mirrored a teenage Manny Pacquiao for the flashback sequences, ensuring the transition from dusty Philippine streets to Las Vegas arenas felt authentic.
