Value retail is booming alongside experience retail: 70% of customers plan to buy from outlets or off-price retailers in the next 12 months even if their budget increases (BoF-McKinsey), and US warehouse clubs grew revenue roughly 50% from 2020 to 2024. The middle of the market is what's emptying.
