Forte Bank: Humanity Chain
Forte Bank aimed to transition from corporate to mass retail banking by demonstrating its core value of mutual support. The client tasked Progression CA with creating a campaign that resonated with the public without relying on traditional media. The goal was to build brand awareness and trust by highlighting the power of human unity, ultimately establishing the bank as a relatable, community-focused institution.
Creative Idea
A permanent bronze sculpture invited citizens to physically complete a viral act of kindness.
Forte Bank transformed a viral video of strangers rescuing a dog into an interactive bronze sculpture. By inviting passersby to physically hold the sculpture's hand, the bank turned a fleeting digital moment into a permanent, tangible symbol of human unity.
From Viral Video to Bronze Reality
A Decade of Echoes
The campaign draws its inspiration from a 2016 incident at the Sayran Reservoir in Almaty. A dog had fallen into the water, trapped by steep concrete walls. In a spontaneous act of solidarity, a group of strangers formed a human chain to lower a rescuer down, successfully pulling the dog to safety. By immortalizing this specific event in bronze, the bank shifted its image from a corporate entity to a community-focused institution.
Engineering the Human Connection
Commissioned from artist Yerbossyn Meldibekov, the life-sized sculpture was designed with an interactive philosophy. Unlike traditional static monuments, the final figure in the bronze chain extends a hand past the railing. This invites passersby to physically grasp the sculpture, effectively becoming the next link in the chain. The production cost for this installation was $80,000, yet the campaign relied on $0 in paid media, achieving its massive reach entirely through organic engagement.

The Power of Organic Reach
The project gained momentum even before its official unveiling on March 22, 2026. During the installation process on March 20, local citizens began sharing photos of the work, triggering a global viral cycle. The campaign ultimately generated over 1 billion views across 105 countries and secured an estimated $20 million in earned media value. Within the domestic market of Kazakhstan, the project achieved an organic reach of 16 million people, maintaining a 99.9% positive sentiment rate. This transition from a fleeting digital moment to a permanent, tactile public installation allowed the brand to achieve a 250x return on media value and a significant boost in consumer retail banking interest.

This campaign's physical artwork transforms a viral viral moment into an interactive, permanent public monument. The tactile design of the bronze sculpture directly engages passersby to participate in the message physically.
By placing the sculpture at the exact physical location of the event and designing the top figure to hold hands with real pedestrians, the installation turns passive observers into active participants.
The meticulous bronze craftsmanship accurately recreates the dynamic postures and emotion of the original viral video figures down to the trapped dog.
