The strongest brands returned more than twice the S&P 500 over 2007-2019

Kantar BrandZ tracked company returns from 2007 to 2019 ranked by brand strength: the Most Powerful Brands portfolio returned +317% and the Strong Brands portfolio +196%, against +128% for the S&P 500 and +59% for the MSCI World Index. Strong brands also held up better in the 2008-2009 downturn.
